Desk and Wall Calendars for 2013

A shameless plug for our 2013 calendar site 🙂 I don’t know where 2012 went but 2013 is just around the corner and as always we got your back. We have around 4000 2013 wall calendars, desk, daily planners and all other 2013 calendar products.

We have children’s and kids calendars, lots of them with dog themes and most dog breed calendars and of course we have lots of cute kitten and 2013 cat calendars. Let The 2012 – 2013 Golden Snow Games Begin

Coming to you live from New York it’s the 2012 – 2013 Golden Snowball snow contest! Hello all, we hope you had an awesome summer. We sure did with plenty of poolside cocktails and soda pops to go with plenty of hot, hot days of sunshine. Now it’s just a memory of the past as the cold weather is upon us with the possibility of another storm coming up the coast.

Normally when I here storm I’m all in but because of the devastation from Hurricane Sandy and so many folks still without power I’m hoping this one passes by those on the East coast. I know I have several family members and friends who were and still are being affected by Hurricane Sandy. Most likely you do too. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of them.

Once again congrats to Rochester, last seasons champion 🙂 Who would have thought that around 60 inches of snow would win the Golden Snowball contest. Not us that’s for sure but they did and you can bet all of the other cities will be out to dethrone them and knock them off from being the king of the snow hill this season.

That’s about it for now but I’m sure it’s only a matter of days, maybe even hours before one of our great cities has snow to report and gets on the snow board. Any thoughts on who this seasons snow champion will be?

New Halloween Inflatables and Yard Blowups

I just updated our Halloween inflatables site and there are several new ones out this season.  Some of the Halloween yard blowups are pretty cool too.  Right now we have outdoor inflatables from 3 different merchants including Walmart, Spirit Halloween and Buycostumes to give you one of the largest selections online.

National Weather Service – CNY Central Skywarn Class Tonight

Just a heads up that the National Weather Service in Binghamton and CNY Central TV Stations (TV 3 Syracuse) are having a Skywarn weather spotters training class tonight, Tuesday 5/8 at the East Syracuse Minoa high school on Fremont road.

I caught the first one which was based on winter weather, measuring snow, reporting it and a lot of great information. This one will cover the basics of thunderstorms, tornadoes, and flooding while training you on how to report severe weather to the National Weather Service. Very informative to say the least. The best part is it’s free to the public so check it out if you’re not doing anything tonight. More info at:

Suggestions for The City of Syracuse on Passing the Trophy

Ut Oh Syracuse!!!  It looks like your reign as the King of the Golden Snowball contest is coming to an end.  Your spot on the top of the snow pile will soon be taken away by The Rock, Roch cha cha, the Great city of Rochester 🙂

With less than 2 days left in the great snow race Rochester holds a big enough lead and is dug in deep enough on top of the snow hill that no city will be able to reach them by the end of June 30th.  Now the question is what’s next other than come May 1st declaring Rochester the snow champions for the 2011 – 2012 season.

The question that comes to my mind is how will the city of Syracuse transfer the trophy over to Rochester.  Maybe the Mayor will take a limo and deliver it personally?  Maybe they will just ship it to them through the mail?  In my opinion it would be pretty cool to have a convoy of salt trucks and snow plows driving down the highway with the mayor following in a limo.  Of course it would be nice if the mayor would ask me to join her 😉  Throw in a marching band from one of the city’s schools and hey, it’s a party now.  After all they did most likely save hundreds of thousands of dollars this winter.

These are a few of my suggestions.  How do you think the city of Syracuse should pass the trophy along?
