First Lake Effect Warning of the season! After this event was first hyped up a few days ago the forecasts all but killed this down to a minimal event and now we have shifted back to a decent snowfall potential. Looking at 5-10 inches for the Buffalo Metro tomorrow which would give us a great lead for the dismal winter we have all been suffering thus far. I’m hoping this turns into one of those mis–forested lake storms that just unleashes on us. Well only reason I am crossing my fingers for that is because I have off tomorrow and don’t have to drive in it. So I say LET IT SNOW!

Is it snowing at North Kakilacki? Pretty sad when Cities in Virginia, Texas, Maryland and others will probably have more snow than we do 🙂
Crank up that lake effect snow making machine! Oh,its coming, its only a matter of time! There will be no disappointment this year, but yet again, another magnanimous win for the Salt City Warriors.
Watching your winter progress down here from North Kakilacki.
Cousins Pam and Mike.
It's looking like a bust for Buffalo 🙁 Only 0.6 being reported so far as of 4:00 pm. Hopefully some overnight snow will happen.
I think some of the cities in Texas and Louisiana may have gone ahead of some of the GSB cities, lol.
Well, I only got about an inch of the white stuff out my way. I talked to my Mom a bit ago, who lives only a couple miles away from the Buffalo-Niagara airport, and she said that she didn't get *any* snow 🙁
So much for building up a lead…
~sigh~
and we have a dud on our hands… the airport will be lucky to report in with 5 inches from this storm.
Well they are calling for Buffalo airport & south to see little if any accumulation.
Awesome Jill and the General. I hope when all is done you get a foot or more : )
Unfortunately it's the same Ole semi-sunny day here in DaCuse ; ) It's starting to look like this may be a good contest this year. Watch Buffalo win the first Golden Snow Globe award. That just wouldn't be right to Syracuse though ;p
As long as one of the Big 3 cities from New York win it I'll be happy.
I'm in the Lockport area and it's starting to come down!
