  1. We forgot to state the obvious Patrick, this article again confirms your " celebrity status " and you've taken that status from local to national. 4 feet of snow by December 10 – what possible encore could be in store for Syracuse? or Upstate NY for that matter? records will tumble….

  2. Hey Pat, that's pretty nice. Thanks!

Eric, that is a great question. As I recall, that 42.9 total is just the blizzard, which lasted about 2 days. So, if there was snow a day or 2 before or after the blizzard, it would be added on to the four day total, but not the blizzard total itself. That is my best guess as to where that 1.6 difference is.

  3. I have a question about the blizzard of 93 storm totals. I saw that 44.5 inch storm total also on the channel 3 news. as I remember, it was a 42.9 inch storm total. my weather almanac has it down as 42.9 and I still have the original post standard front page that says we are the snow king 42.9. where did the extra 1.6 inches come from?

  4. It was great to get back to Upstate NY tonight and see the big snows first hand. These storms are what legends come from and the media was all over this one. Saw A LOT of coverage on this even down in Philly all week. Got about 2' at my house back in ROC and the wife kept up with it so it was good to be home. Congrats to Cuse (and everyone else as there were impressive numbers from all over) on such a great storm and look forward to the next.
