  1. The lakes are starting to roar! The airport might miss out the heaviest of the snow but still looking good for a 6-12+ inch snowfall. Down my way in the southtowns the forecast is showing anywhere from 15-30 inches.

Ah if only I didn't have to work tomorrow.. sigh..

  2. ZR, I slept right through it unfortunately 🙂 Looks like only a few inches here also.

Hey CD, I was just watching the weather channel and they were talking about Wisconsin. I looked at Madison's snow stats not too long ago and I'll have to check them out again. Your in the new contest this season for snowiest US cities with a pop over 100,000.

I'll be trying to get some stats up either later tonight or tomorrow at http://www.goldensnowglobe.com . It should be interesting to see what the top 10 looks like.

  3. General, shhhhhhh! I did a snow dance last night and may have over done it. It was nothing to do with the snow we got but an attempt to try and bring down the lake effect snow when it starts to Syracuse. If the winds come from the north I'll take blame for them, lol.

  4. HAH! Hello from Madison, WI, the NEW land of ice and snow! Officially at the airport we got about 14 or so inches, but the yardstick in my yard says we got a good 10 more than that here in the southern part of the county! This is how we started our last 100 inch winter! Maybe there's something to this climate thing if Madison can beat my home town of 'Cuse!

  5. Few inches for us overnight last night. Waking up to the plow going by @ 5:30am got me out of bed just a little quicker than normaly today. 🙂

  6. The cuse is in last place?! HA! I love it! Well it will be an interesting few days ahead of us for sure. And no I did NOT do a snowdance. Everytime we have hurricane winds in WNY everyone tries to blame it on me doing a faulty two step. It will be interesting to see where the snow bands setup on Thursday-Friday. Looks to be a tad south of Buffalo and a tad north of Syracuse meaning the big cities might miss on the big totals. Just have to wait and see!
