  1. How did you get the emails from Tom Hauf? That definitely sounds like something I’d be interested in, but couldn’t find a link for that on the WTVH website.

  2. Sean, thanks 😉 I just went out to take a video because it’s coming down so hard right now in my area. Probably about 2 – 3 inches an hour and it looks like a heavier band is right behind this one heading our way.

Your right about the one season when we had a heck of a December similar to the one we had this season. I think this season may have even beaten that one. No doubt about the rain taking away from our stats and some of the other GSB city stats but so far this season has been a lot better than last year as far as the Nor Easters have been. I think last year almost everyone was a bust because it was too warm. I have that same feeling you do Sean about something being different this season. Hopefully it’s the magical number of 200 😉

  3. pat – great post, and i’ll do a blog post based on it and credit your inspiration. seems to me, within recent memory, we had another butt-kicking decemember and then settled into a heavy but nowhere-near-to-record-breaking winter. but this one feels different, and today’s storm should push us well into the 90s. if we could come out of january at 150, even 140, who knows? here’s the might-have-been: how about all that rain we got in the last couple of weeks? if it’d been a little colder, we’d really be thinking record.
