Syracuse has pushed Binghamton a spot down the snow hill to move into the #1 spot for the first time this season. All of the Golden Snowball cities now have measurable snow this season and obviously we have only just begun 😉
It’s close and only 0.3 of an inch separate Syracuse and Binghamton as of the last update from NOAA. I’m out of town right now so unfortunately I missed the first snowfall of the season although I did see a few snowflakes falling here in Clayton, NC this morning. I think I counted about 11 of them 😉
I think this is going to be another fun season and as always any of the cities can win the Golden Snowball trophy which sits just outside of the Mayors office door on a shelf here in Syracuse. OK, I don’t think Albany can win but it’s up for grabs for the other four cities.
Have an Awesome Weekend All 🙂
Getting ready for the well advertised “whopper” in Buffalo! Enjoy that small lead Pat you won’t have it for much longer. Tom Niziol is in town and is very excited over this setup. Lot of talk on intense thundersnow and snowfall rates approaching 3-5 inches per hour.
Funny thing is General is that Buffalo is in dead last right now. Behind Albany 😛 Of course that will be changing pretty fast as Buffalo sleds into first place 🙂 Drive careful all of you in the Buffalo area and stay safe 😉 Send some pictures if you have time…
